Bmw Sheet Metal Thickness

From what i remember my vw s were a hit or miss with the mk5 having pretty thin sheet metal.

I can t find a minimum thickness spec on the rotor itself though the aluminum had a nice white corroded finish that even when removed has obscured any markings that were once present on the hub. There is something called sandwich design where different materials ofcourse higher grade are used to get the best outpu.
